Kirbebike EZ Rider Ebike Conversion Kit 36v 250w Front Wheel 36V 22AH LG Battery 40-60 Miles

Have been eyeing up this kit ever since Andy first released a video about it and how easy it was to install.
Admit installation wasn't difficuly, kit come with clear paper instructions and added access to videos, so anyone could do it.
Delivery come way earlier than expected date and there was good communication from delivery service kirbebikes used.
It is a lot of fun, especially the torque you get from the front wheel motor, with 3 different modes available.
Battery lasts as expected, before you know you arrived from A to B with ease.

Just put the EZ Kit on my bike, and honestly, it absolutely lives up to the name (EZ = Easy). The installation was incredibly smooth, no faff at all. The dual battery setup is spot on—easily getting around 60 miles from it, so I can just enjoy my weekend rides without constantly staring at the battery gauge. You’d think a twin-battery setup would feel bulky, but the kit is actually surprisingly lightweight, and the bike still handles as naturally and smoothly as before. Genuinely a cracking, well-made bit of kit!

I was skeptical about this kit to begin with but I have been using it for about a week now too get to and from work. In short, it's great. I have it on setting 2 for most of the time and you can feel it ever so slightly pulling you along. At first I didn't think it was doing anything, until I looked at the speedo and realised I was doing 15mph up a hill without breaking a sweat.
Things to note that aren't in the instructions: press and hold the left arrow for the motor to go at 6kph on its own, press and hold the right arrow for the headlight on the battery, and press and hold both arrow keys for the settings menu.
Would definitely recommend this. Fitting was easy too.

This kit is absolutely brilliant! I did 3,500km on mine in 2 years.

I use my bike to get to the train station, which is 6km away from my home. There is a massive climb on the way back, which is not what I want to deal with after a day at work. I was looking for a compact electric kit to put on my bike, and EZ Rider was ideal. It was shipped quickly, no pre-order wait time like with the alternative one. I really like that the battery is easy to remove and compact enough to throw in a backpack. I just lock the bike, take of the battery and get on the train.

That's commuting, what about longer rides? Weekends - I cycle with my 2yo in a child seat. For its size the battery holds quite a lot of power. I get 20-30km from a full charge depending on the terrain with assist at 2 and 3. I also got a second battery, that I carry in a bag on long rides, which gives me 50-60km range. So, it might be not very obvious, but having a swappable compact battery gives you flexibility. If it was one big battery - it wouldn't be ideal for commuting/shopping - carrying a massive battery in a backpack. I you want to use the bike for long rides - just get a second battery!

I had low expectations not for the e-bike kit but for anything that’s road legal in the uk! This kit massively exceeded my expectations. Easy to fit, easy to set up and has changed my 3.5 mile Devon hills commute from an arduous hilly 25mins to an 11 minute leisure ride. I don’t expect it’ll be long before I swap out for a higher wattage kit either 1000w rear wheel or mid drive.

Range fantastic, providing you put a little of your own effort in.
Easy to fit.
Didn't fit the brake sensors as the motor cuts out as soon as you stop peddling.
Didn't fit the throttle either because of the UK regulations.
Removed my crank to fit the permanent pedal assist.
The battery/control unit is quite light.
The wheel is a good strong wheel but it is quite heavy.
Overall the kit is outstanding, and for me it's a much better choice than the big heavy batteries that you fit to your frame.

I HAVE NOT GOT IT FITTED YET AS IT WAS DELIVERED WITHOUT THE BATTERY,I WAS IN A RIGHT STATE,TILL I WAS INFORMED IT CAME FROM CHINA SEPERATELY.YOU PEOPLE SHOULD LET US KNOW WHEN WE ORDER STUFF THAT THE MAIN ITEM COMES LATER.I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AT ALL.

I like the convenience of the kit for commuting and the ease of putting the kit together .

I am a bigger bloke so it helps when required,but I would like more power .
