36V 48V 250W Electric Bike Conversion Kit Front Wheel

I'm a Kirbebike kit upgrader from Swytch kit, which has been great!
But this kit has taken me to another level.
2nd journey out yesterday, went further, faster and furious!
Brilliant fun...
Worth the spend!

Excellent clean well thought out kit with a very lightweight small front hub and small discrete controller,
I like the fact you can disconnect the wheel easily with a waterproof connector near the wheel. Performance is virtually the same as my off brand 500 watt with ac36v battery, I expect a 48v battery will make it fly!!!!

I fitted the kit to my Raleigh Stowaway though the cable to the display, brake levers, thumb throttle isn't quite long enough and the motor cable is around a foot too long. I had a display cable from another build and found a motor cable on ebay that was the perfect length. I like that they give you a choice of two types of cadence sensors. The controller is a 36/48v 17ah and it comes locked to 15.5mph, unlocked 21.4mph

Easy to set up and a good price and quality

Kit arrived as expected 2 weeks after ordering.
Battery finally arrived after sending an email reminder that i had still not received the battery within time scales after the kit arrived.
The kit was fitted to a trike bike. therefore a bit of forward thinking was required where to locate the controller unit as one of the cables could have been slightly longer by about 8-10 inches to allow a suitable fitting on the rear of the frames near to the battery for example.
took about a day and a half as needed to make a fitting bracket for the battery to be located and secured within the rear basket.
In all, a neat job was carried out and the kit works as described.

I’ve only received the battery and not the e-bike front wheel conversion kit ? :( not received full kit. I’ll update my review once I received the full conversion kit.

Can this kit be used with a 52V 15A artery or would it need a different control unit?

Took around two weeks for all parts to arrive. All parts appear to be decent quality. Wheel is nice, much better than i expected. Pdeal assistance sensor is quite difficult to place, this may just be my MTB due to the limited space. Whilst the video was helpful, it took around 2 hours to fully install. Throttle option is a nice option to have, however on my first ride of about 2hrs it was not available to use towards the end of the ride (i assume the controller got to warm). Second ride which was about 1hr 30 mins there were no issues. However, i was advised not to put the controller in the bag whilst the weather is warm. A bit of a strange comment, surely more people will be out using it in dry sunny conditions. Maybe, it should be considered that a winter and summer controller bags are provided. Overall, very good value.

It blows away any factory-built 250-watt kit I have ever tried while keeping a low profile of being the same size as a 250-watt still! The kit was straight forward enough to install, it's very comprehensive with an included toolkit
& brake sensors for both hydraulic & cable systems, most kits
do not include hydraulic sensors you have to buy them separately usually, you also get pedal assist sensors for Shimano square tapered bottom brackets & older design cranks so it covers all the bases. The 48v 20ah battery has very good range, I got 60 miles on my first charge with 1 red light so 25% charge still. It's definitely the sweet spot sitting in between the 250-500 watt hubs, I am very happy with the overall build quality including the wheel's finish to the components, performance & range, my Ebike journey has only just begun long may it continue :)
