My first endeavour into the e-bike world in a more recent focus on improving ones health as well as desire for a new project. The performance of this mid-drive is amazing and is a breeze to install! All connections and pieces are quality! Got this kit for its torque focused motor and it really does feel more natural. The throttle is also a nice addition too for those step hills/end of a ride where your feeling knackered.
Range - Did a good test recently which came to a total of 34 miles (54km's) and most of this was done in assist 4-5 in the highest gears with a sustained speed of 20-23mph (Nice long and straight light gravel cycle route) and still had between 10-30% charge. Amazing as I am a heavy rider (currently 123kg)
Speed - Even though I am a chonky user (123kg), ones top speed achieved on a flat piece of land is 28mph, which just shows the power of this motor. So heavier people should not be put off for sure! Keeping in mind I often only go up to 20-23mph due to where I am going.
Noise - It is amazing how quiet this unit is, mostly can only hear it when going slow but this is at a soft whine. I really like how the tone changes depending on speed and use of the pedals!

Bought this to breathe new life into my 2021 Vitus Dee 3 speed nexus.Kit fitted on no issues.Performance is fantastic and especially on hills. The speed sensor needs careful fitting.Otherwise fit and enjoy.Best performance per £ on the market.
