I'm 52 carrying a bit of midlife weight and the doctor has told me to start looking after myself. So I bought a bike. I live two miles away from my workplace. Now as I work at a large vehicle manufacturing plant getting out of the car park is a nightmare. Not anymore. I decided to fit a kirbebike kit to my hybrid trek bike.Im home before most people have even got out of the car park. The kirbebike kit has honestly changed my life. Delivery was great, only took a couple of days. The mid drive was so easy to fit, which was great because I'd never done a conversion before, but the easiest thing in the world. The torque on the drive is fantastic, pulls me up steep hills i couldn't even climb on a bike as a kid, although I haven't tried it with the throttle yet as i prefer to peddle. TIP - the manual for the display unit is on kirbebike webside, mine came with the T5S.
There was some queries around max speed and what can be expected, it depends what size cassette and wheel you have, but technical help was spot on. I did have some worries about making such a large purchase online and if it was going to be what i expected, needn't have worried, the whole process was perfect
