EZ Rider Ebike Conversion Kit 36v 250w Front Wheel 36V 22AH LG Battery 40-60 Miles

Just put the EZ Kit on my bike, and honestly, it absolutely lives up to the name (EZ = Easy). The installation was incredibly smooth, no faff at all. The dual battery setup is spot on—easily getting around 60 miles from it, so I can just enjoy my weekend rides without constantly staring at the battery gauge. You’d think a twin-battery setup would feel bulky, but the kit is actually surprisingly lightweight, and the bike still handles as naturally and smoothly as before. Genuinely a cracking, well-made bit of kit!

Great for the price if you already have a bike buy 1 try 1 instead of investing thousands iv also done a few clips for youtube / ROMANLION1970

I've had the EZ rider kit for a few weeks now, and it's made cycling pleasurable again.
My commute to work is around 3.5 miles and a big hill to fly down.
So it's not so fun on the way home.
Without the conversion kit, I was able to get up in 2nd gear, and it take a couple of minutes to get to the top, but now I'm able to climb hill with EaZe.
It easily takes a good 10 minutes off of my travel time.
And on the day I write this review, it was very windy this morning, and having assistance most Definity helped battle through the wind.

The kit was quite straight forward to fit with a friend that has half a clue about bike maintenance, and took around 45 minutes.

I built myself a winter commuter bike around this kit and all in all its a great little kit. I would have given the kit 5/5 stars if it had an onoff switch for the running light. Also worth mentioning is that the battery drains quite quickly especially here in the cold Swedish winter but taken the compact form factor in mind its still good.

Kit arrived quickly and well packaged from Kirbebike.
Straight forward installation onto a Claud Butler Hybrid. Weight of bike is now 15.7Kg, which is a lot lighter than most E Bikes.
Have tested on a 17 mile bike ride with numerous hills / muddy farm tracks and the performance was good. After the ride the battery level is 34.6v with battery display showing around 30%.
Only issue is with display "fogging" up, which has been reported by other users.
Overall well impressed.

Battery life seems reality good, I have not used the charge in the unit as shipped

If you are fitting to a Brompton please look at the photos carefully as you need to be spot on but once fitted it works great

Kit works Ok . Took 2 days to install as needed new caliper spacer and 160mm to fit wheel on my 700c wheel size bike. This Extra cost I didn't expect. Motor performance is good and not too noisy. Display is fine with foggy screen once working on 10 mile drive this is being locked at by supplier. Light works great. Would buy again .

I was skeptical about this kit to begin with but I have been using it for about a week now too get to and from work. In short, it's great. I have it on setting 2 for most of the time and you can feel it ever so slightly pulling you along. At first I didn't think it was doing anything, until I looked at the speedo and realised I was doing 15mph up a hill without breaking a sweat.
Things to note that aren't in the instructions: press and hold the left arrow for the motor to go at 6kph on its own, press and hold the right arrow for the headlight on the battery, and press and hold both arrow keys for the settings menu.
Would definitely recommend this. Fitting was easy too.

This kit is absolutely brilliant! I did 3,500km on mine in 2 years.

I use my bike to get to the train station, which is 6km away from my home. There is a massive climb on the way back, which is not what I want to deal with after a day at work. I was looking for a compact electric kit to put on my bike, and EZ Rider was ideal. It was shipped quickly, no pre-order wait time like with the alternative one. I really like that the battery is easy to remove and compact enough to throw in a backpack. I just lock the bike, take of the battery and get on the train.

That's commuting, what about longer rides? Weekends - I cycle with my 2yo in a child seat. For its size the battery holds quite a lot of power. I get 20-30km from a full charge depending on the terrain with assist at 2 and 3. I also got a second battery, that I carry in a bag on long rides, which gives me 50-60km range. So, it might be not very obvious, but having a swappable compact battery gives you flexibility. If it was one big battery - it wouldn't be ideal for commuting/shopping - carrying a massive battery in a backpack. I you want to use the bike for long rides - just get a second battery!

I had low expectations not for the e-bike kit but for anything that’s road legal in the uk! This kit massively exceeded my expectations. Easy to fit, easy to set up and has changed my 3.5 mile Devon hills commute from an arduous hilly 25mins to an 11 minute leisure ride. I don’t expect it’ll be long before I swap out for a higher wattage kit either 1000w rear wheel or mid drive.

Range fantastic, providing you put a little of your own effort in.
Easy to fit.
Didn't fit the brake sensors as the motor cuts out as soon as you stop peddling.
Didn't fit the throttle either because of the UK regulations.
Removed my crank to fit the permanent pedal assist.
The battery/control unit is quite light.
The wheel is a good strong wheel but it is quite heavy.
Overall the kit is outstanding, and for me it's a much better choice than the big heavy batteries that you fit to your frame.
Would recommend.

I like the convenience of the kit for commuting and the ease of putting the kit together .

I am a bigger bloke so it helps when required,but I would like more power .

Instructions easy to follow, and the kit easy to fit. Biking up hills now much easier, and easy to maintain a constant speed. All in all, for the money very good value compared to other kits. Range in the region of 20 miles.

Have been eyeing up this kit ever since Andy first released a video about it and how easy it was to install.
Admit installation wasn't difficuly, kit come with clear paper instructions and added access to videos, so anyone could do it.
Delivery come way earlier than expected date and there was good communication from delivery service kirbebikes used.
It is a lot of fun, especially the torque you get from the front wheel motor, with 3 different modes available.
Battery lasts as expected, before you know you arrived from A to B with ease.

It is a great piece of kit I can tackle any hill climb with ease.it is a big help to making the experience of riding a more pleasant journey I am no longer straining myself and eco mode is enough to be assisted by I am very happy with the EZ conversation kit

Really happy with the performance of the motor and the longevity of the battery.
Tested under several loads and feel confident with the installation.
Only issue is not being able to turn off led but Jason has assured that this will software engineered in the future.
Bike does feel more front heavy, understandably but still feels balanced when riding.
Definitely recommend this kit.

After buying the 52v 1500w kit from yourselves which is still going strong after completing over 3000 miles i decided to buy the ez rider ebike conversion kit for my girlfriend. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and took about an hour to fit to her bike. The light is really bright and shes looking forward to test riding the bike. Weather pending.

So far so good. Easy to install the wheel. Unfortunately could not install Pas as my crank was not compatible. However, the system is sound with plenty of battery life. Overall very happy. Well done guys! This is one way to convert an average bike into a super bike!!

I have had this kit on my bike now for a few weeks. On the whole I am very pleased with it. No instructions were included and so I needed to seek a little guidance online but it was generally straight forward to install. I use my bike every day to commute to and from work. Range was good for the first couple of charges but has dropped off slightly in the colder weather. The light on the front is good on dark mornings but I wonder how range is sacrificed because of it? I have had a slight issue with the brake sensors loosing adhesion and needed to replace the sticky pads. Power and torque feels good when the battery is fully charged. You do however feel the torque drop off quickly when the battery level drops into the yellow / red. Consequently you need to charge it before it drops too low. Speed is restricted to 15mph to comply with legislation however if you press and hold both arrow buttons you can access a settings menu that allows you to change various settings including max speed, which in practice is about 20 mph. This is my first ebike kit and I enjoy using it.
