Will the kit fit my bike?

This is a rear wheel kit. It fits a bike with: a 135–142 mm rear dropout (measure the inside width between the frame ends); a steel or aluminium frame, not carbon; disc brakes (the MTX rim is for disc brakes only); and a wheel size we build — choose 26", 27.5", 29" or 700C from the options above. Pick the motor to match your gears: one version takes a 7-speed threaded freewheel, the other an 8–11-speed cassette (cassette sprockets are not included). Fit the torque arm supplied with the kit. If anything is unclear, measure first with our wheel and dropout guide or email support@kirbebike.com with a photo of your rear dropout.

All figures are in pure electric mode, the actual mileage will be farther if there is pedal assist.

LG cells are better in product quality and stability, so the price is more expensive.

How many blocks can I walk? (top speed)

Most of our electric bike conversion kits can reach a top speed of 25-30 Km/h, but the 1000W model can reach speeds of 45-50 Km/h. These speed limits are primarily set by the laws governing bicycles. Requirements for bicycles with a top speed of more than 25 km/h may require additional permits and are subject to different traffic regulations.

Bike is good and reilable goes 43k battery doesn’t last long if u just want it going around with friends not peddling besides that everything fine I’ve just over 250km done on it and is good and reilable would recommend it

So far, so good

Bought the 48v 1000w kit for my Carrera mountain bike. Don't have much bad to say - it's a good conversion kit which works well, although I've only used it for a week. The speed is good for what I need, it can climb hills, and it's a simple piece of kit to build if you know you're way around a bike. Controller can get a little hot, but I think that might be normal. Overall, I'd recommend it.

48v 1000w e-bike conversion kit waterproof design

Installation booklet could be written a little better. Some parts were too small for the handle bars and frame. I know it’s hard to make parts fit hundreds of bikes, but you can make parts a little larger and put spacers in. I have rode it for 20 miles, could have used more power and speed. If you want close to 40 mph go at least 2000w. I’m close to 200 pounds, when I ordered I should have took that into consideration can only get 28 mph my fault.

Delivery was super fast ordered on 2nd February, kit arrived on 10th and the battery on the 12th.

Bought just the kit as I had a battery already. Build quality is great. Well thought out kit compared to the kits on ebay, which also do the same job. But for longevity I would recommend this Kirbykit. Only down side I guess it's isn't uk based so if anything does go wrong I would probably waiting a week and a bit for any bits to come

I still haven’t received my battery yet so I haven’t had chance to actually go on my bike and use it but the wheel and set up looks great just looking forward to having a go when the battery gets delivered.

Got the kit and the battery in the same day easily put it together just a bit confused when I charge it if I click the button on the battery it says it’s only got 2 out of 4 bars but the charger is saying it’s green

I like the way Kirbebike offers its kits. There are many combinations possible. I specially like the Lights Set which is really very hard to find to be compatible on the internet with your kit. However I find that the display you are offering in the ordered kit is not good in the direct sunlight, and also your response time is kind of slow ( i don't know if you were very busy at that time or not, but that was my impression).

only problem is that the thumb throttle will not fit with gears, I had to buy a 12 pound twist throttle instead.
