A little delay before the assistance kicks in but I’m happy I made this purchase. You can pedal hard if you want to reach top speed and actually still use your legs, or just use the throttle if you feeling Lazy. Really easy to install even easier to use. Now I wish it was 1000w
Unfortunately my order had a problem. My wheel kit arrived with the standard wheel instead of the MTX wheel as advertised. I contacted the company who were very reluctant to exchange it and told me I would have to pay some of the return costs. I was offered a £50 pound refund and one year extended warranty for keeping the wheel I had. I endered up excepting this due to the expense and hassle of getting it changed.
So the buying experience was not as good as I expected,. Sorry about the negativity but you did ask. Regards Paul.
Great kit to convert your bike in e-bike
Very happy so far kit was very easy to fit took around 2 hrs. The only thing was the digital display t5s the manual is very confusing but after a few emails I managed to figure it out.only negative should review t5s instructions. Looking forward to many gravel rides. Thanks again very good kit at a good price Mr Steve Horsfall
Excellent product easy to fit done 200nmile in last week coupleof small problems but looking to upgrade battery to 72v or 60 v and controller gett more acceleration&torque slight problem battery voltage sag but emailed regarding my problems having need surron throttle and display settings list of what's what they do as no instructions is italways normal yo have red indicatorlight on a full charge
for me 20ah wasnt enough, so instead of going to another supplier, i might as well get another battery and run my bike in dual battery, 40ah of hotness
it took about 1h 30 with no experience and charging was not 4 hours it took about 2, top speed is also 95 mph plus with no weight. amazing kit
I was shocked of how good this actually was. It’s a great buy. People were all very friendly and helpful as I had no idea about anything and they helped me along the way
Crank arms stripped within 10 miles of cycling re tapped and used a threaded insert to repair and that stripped out after 2 miles the crank arms atleast one of mines appears to be incredibly poor quality metal, replacement cranks aren’t that easy to source either. May be worth kirbie e bike trying to contact tongshen tsdz8 manufacturers and seeing if a revision can be made to the crank as I don’t seem to be the only person with this issue.
Can’t fault kirbie e bike and I’ve sourced another crank set hopefully this will get me going again

I found Kona tourqe arms were visually better than those supplyed as they worked with my bike frame better.

Bought this as an entry into e-moto, just built a 5000w kit from another supplier, and its 5-10mph slower, would definitely recommend kirbebike's kit, never had an issue.
Unfortunately had to refund this item, however they were quick with sending the item to me, and have been helpful refunding it. Polite and genuine.
The wheel was a replacement for a very heavy used previous wheel.. the service, communication and great product lived upto my 1st kirby experience 3 years ago, ekirby and Jason will always be my 1st goto.. well done
I ordered my Kirbe E bike kit my battery arrived 6 days later and my E bike kit arrived after 8 days and we're packed extremely well.The kit was easy to fit I had to take a small amount of the dropouts with my Dremel for the axle to fit. The electric motor is very powerful and extremely quite.I am very happy with my Kirbe bike 52v 200w Ebike kit

Easy to fit.
Didn't fit the brake sensors as the motor cuts out as soon as you stop peddling.
Didn't fit the throttle either because of the UK regulations.
Removed my crank to fit the permanent pedal assist.
The battery/control unit is quite light.
The wheel is a good strong wheel but it is quite heavy.
Overall the kit is outstanding, and for me it's a much better choice than the big heavy batteries that you fit to your frame.
Would recommend.

Really impressed with it all apart from the throttle but I don't think it's designed to be used as a throttle on its own as the motor can't handle the load on its own. But the peddle assist is fantastic and battery life is great. It's a tidy kit that comes packaged well and pretty simple to fit despite no instructions.
I had to contact for support as the display also came with no instructions but got sent a pdf of these later. The only thing that you'll most likely need is a new chain as you'll likely need a longer one.
