Wow! What an awesome bit of kit. Well worth the little extra paid for the 750w. Arrived promptly and as described. Very easy to fit for me being mechanically minded. I didn't fit the throttle as I don't think it's needed with a peddle assist, it gives the ride a more natural feel. I had no issues at all fitting the kit, didn't even need a new chain. I also like the fact I can choose the level of assist I need and with the rear gears at my disposal it's so good at beating those hills. If you're thinking of converting your cycle to an ebike, thus is definitely the kit for you.

A little delay before the assistance kicks in but I’m happy I made this purchase. You can pedal hard if you want to reach top speed and actually still use your legs, or just use the throttle if you feeling Lazy. Really easy to install even easier to use. Now I wish it was 1000w

Great kit to convert your bike in e-bike

Very happy so far kit was very easy to fit took around 2 hrs. The only thing was the digital display t5s the manual is very confusing but after a few emails I managed to figure it out.only negative should review t5s instructions. Looking forward to many gravel rides. Thanks again very good kit at a good price Mr Steve Horsfall

Crank arms stripped within 10 miles of cycling re tapped and used a threaded insert to repair and that stripped out after 2 miles the crank arms atleast one of mines appears to be incredibly poor quality metal, replacement cranks aren’t that easy to source either. May be worth kirbie e bike trying to contact tongshen tsdz8 manufacturers and seeing if a revision can be made to the crank as I don’t seem to be the only person with this issue.

Can’t fault kirbie e bike and I’ve sourced another crank set hopefully this will get me going again

Really impressed with it all apart from the throttle but I don't think it's designed to be used as a throttle on its own as the motor can't handle the load on its own. But the peddle assist is fantastic and battery life is great. It's a tidy kit that comes packaged well and pretty simple to fit despite no instructions.
I had to contact for support as the display also came with no instructions but got sent a pdf of these later. The only thing that you'll most likely need is a new chain as you'll likely need a longer one.

I'll start by saying that I didn't actually buy my kit from kirbebike as I had it gifted to me, but this little motor is amazing. The install process is a piece of cake (unless your bottom bracket has seized, which mine had). This kit makes riding pretty much effortless, I've hit 31.8 mph on flat ground using only a 7 speed casette. The motor is quite and makes hills seem like your running over a mole hill. I'm writing this review on kirbebike as I'm a fan and supporter of Andys YouTube as well as his products, good quality stuff and Jason always provides great customer services.

Delivery was great, only took a couple of days. The mid drive was so easy to fit, which was great because I'd never done a conversion before, but the easiest thing in the world. The torque on the drive is fantastic, pulls me up steep hills i couldn't even climb on a bike as a kid, although I haven't tried it with the throttle yet as i prefer to peddle. TIP - the manual for the display unit is on kirbebike webside, mine came with the T5S.
There was some queries around max speed and what can be expected, it depends what size cassette and wheel you have, but technical help was spot on. I did have some worries about making such a large purchase online and if it was going to be what i expected, needn't have worried, the whole process was perfect

First off the ordering and delivery were easy and quick.
It’s not the first e-bike I’ve build but it was probably the easiest. The power is good with smooth delivery. Sometimes you don’t even notice. It is a really neat piece of kit.
I do wish the battery charger was a bit better as it takes ages to charge.
